A Christmas Prayer

This Christmas, I pray
for peace and love,
for hope and joy,

for happiness and friends,

And all things that come with the joy of Christmas time.

I pray that all living creatures
have the families and friends
that make up the best
Christmas one person can have.

I pray that, as hard as it may be,
that all people everywhere
remember what Christmas is really all about;
not just the joy of toys and presents,
but the thought that Jesus,
the one true God,
was born on this very special day.
